Andreas Cellarius

Andreas Cellarius (c. 1596–1665) was a Dutch-German cartographer, astronomer, and cosmographer, best known for his stunning celestial atlas, "Harmonia Macrocosmica" (1660). His work is considered one of the most beautiful and artistically significant star atlases of the Baroque period. Cellarius' "Harmonia Macrocosmica" remains one of the most highly prized and collectible celestial atlases, admired for both its scientific content and artistic beauty.
