Gerard van Schagen (active 1680–1720) was a Dutch cartographer and map publisher, known for producing highly detailed and decorative maps during the Dutch Golden Age of Cartography. He operated in Amsterdam, a major center of mapmaking in the 17th century. Van Schagen’s maps are still admired today for their craftsmanship, historical detail, and artistic embellishments.
