
Sebastian Cabot
Sebastian Cabot (c. 1474–1557) was an Italian explorer, navigator, and cartographer, best known for his voyages in the service of England and Spain during the early Age of Exploration. He was the son of John Cabot, the Venetian explorer who led one of the earliest European expeditions to North America. Sebastian Cabot remains a key figure in early exploration, known for his attempts at finding new trade routes and his contributions to European navigation.
